What Do Tremors During Sleep In A Teenager Indicate?

My 14 year old daughter has been having tremors in her sleep for the past year. They last only a few seconds, but can be up to 15-20 total and end with her eyes twittching and rolled back. Other symptoms she has is joint pain, coldness in her hads, constipation, pain behind eyes, headaches, white patches on the back of her elbows, very dry scaly skin on her elbows. She was diagnosed with barteneilla and babisia - auto borne tic. Could there be more going on. Ruled out epilpesy with doing an EEG. Help!!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

We have to rule out possible causes like seizure disorders or neurological causes.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
