What Do Urine And Cbc Test Results With Monocyte -.10 Indicate?
Hi, I took urine and cbc tests and the clinic did not include an interpretation (the doc does but she wasn't around) so here i am. I'm a 28 Female and not sexually active.
color: yellow transparency: slightly hazy reaction: acidic specific gravity: 1.010 sugar: negative protein: negative pus cells: 3-6/HPF red blood cells: 0-2/HPF epithelial cells: few bacteria: few mucus threads: few amorphous urates: few
got this from my cbc results. it might help. monocyte: 0.10 (the range says normal is 0.02-0.08) RBC: 4.02 (range is 4.2-5.4x10e 12/L)
please help.

Hi Your urine analysis reports suggest the presence of urinary tract infection as pus cells are there and bacteria and epithelial cells also present. Go for a urine culture and sensitivity to ascertain appropriate antibiotic for the infection. Also increase the intake of fluids as that would help eliminate the bacteria rapidly. Regarding Monocytes, the count is above normal range. This can occur in a possible viral infection. If you have any cold or fever or cough do consult your doctor. Otherwise there is no need to bother much about the cell count. Regards
