Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son has white spots in his back, he was seen by a dermatologist and prescribed withfluocinonide, md said it was fungal but it continue to get worse. Is there a better med. or ointment for this? He Used to play football and baseball this past schoolyear.
He may need to use fluconazole orally since the ointment is not working. This is the best solution. Also, keep him wearing cotton cloths, wash and keep skin dry. Change after work out and keep dry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
