What Do You Suggest For MS With Fever And Shivers When On Advil?

My husband has MS, this afternoon he began shivering. I put him in bed with a heated blanket and gave him two Advil at 7:15 PM. He fell asleep. He woke up at 9:30 PM. He has a temperature of 100.4. I put a cold wash cloth on his forehead, and gave him two more Advil at 9:45. He has fallen asleep again. Should I be worried? Should I let him sleep? Is there anything else I should do?

Dear Friend
Welcome to HCM.
See , Multiple sclerosis directly doesn't lead commonly to fever with chills.
However it can result due to immunosuppressive drugs leading to secondary infections.
In case he has recieved interferon recently as treatment of MS it can also result in chills which is a common side effect of this drug.
I suppose if he continues to have this, get him tested and treated.
Good luck.
