What Do You Suggest For A Vein That Pops Out Of My Neck?
Hey mate, So i looked in the mirror when i got home and was making faces and all that because i was bored. Anyways when i started tensing my neck, causing the airflow to stop (not trying to be weird or anything, just looking at my neck muscles) I saw a big vein pop out. It was a forked shape vein, the fork pointed towards my head and the base to my shoulder. I was amazed at first that i could do this and tensed again making it go up and down. But then i thought this could be a problem as I've never seen this before. Is the any problems I should be worried about?
Hi, Thank you for asking question on health care magic. Jugular veins are normally present on the side of the neck. It is natural they will become prominent when the neck is tensed. There is nothing to worry. Hope this answer will serve your purpose Please feel free to ask any more queries if required Take care Dr.M.V.Subrahmanyam MD;DCH Associate professor of pediatrics
