What Do You Suggest For Headaches After A Shingles Vaccine When Taking Care Of A Person Who Has Pneumonia?
I am 70 years old and I had the shingles vaccine 3 years ago. 3 week ago I had headache and pain only on the left side of my head from behind the ear to the top of my scalp, pain and sensitivity to touch. It went away pretty much, returns at times but not with such intensity. Now I think I have a few scabby areas, hard to see throught hair. I'm a pretty allergic person and have had two severe reactions to meds so if possible I use new agents only if necessary., and my PCP agrees. If my symptoms are now milder, do I need treatment? Also, someone in my household whom I am caring for has pneumonia, how infectious am I?
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. If the symptoms are mild then you need not bother. You may just take crocin to relieve pain. However if the symptoms reappear then you may plan a CT scan head. Regarding pneumonia, yes pneumonia is infectious and the rate of infection depends on the causative organism. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. In future if you wish to contact me directly, or need any further details about the asked query you can use the below mentioned link: bit.ly/dr-srikanth-reddy
