What Do You Suggest For Red And Itchy Rashes On My Head After A Anyerism Surgery?
ok, this is a long one, I have had a anyerism surgery and on the one side of my head there now seems to be a lump as if the plate has maybe moved and I now have a red rash on the top of my head and forhead, which is red & ichey. I have never had a rash like this before the surgery was 15 years ago but just wondering if in time the magnesiam plate could have moved and caused the scalp irritation.
You seem to have developed an allergic skin disease. You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.
You might need to apply a topical steroid cream over the affected area twice a day for few days. Take some oral antihistamines along. See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy. You might need a course of oral steroids.
Hope it helps,
