What Do You Suggest For The Pain In The Hip After An Injury?
Ihave had both of my hips replaced. This afternoon I fell on some covered over ice. When I went down my right leg went under me causing a great pain to my hip. Now, it hurts to put weight on it. I'm using a cane. What symptoms should I look for to rule out a hip dislocation?
hi, since you got your both hips replaced, any trauma can cause damage to the prosthesis. you should look for any shortening of the leg which hurt more.
Even if you could not make out any shortening of the leg, it is better to consult your orthopedic surgeon and get X-ray done to rule out any damage or dislocation of the prosthesis. Hope this answers your query. wishing you quick recovery
