What Does the following MRI Scan Indicate? 

What is treatment for a patient having following MRI result? (a) Vertebrae are normal in size, shape, outline, alignment and show diffuse low signal intensity? fluorosis. (b) Mild hypertrophy of ligmentum flavum is seen atD11-12, L1-2 & L2-3 levels and posterior annular hypertrophy at L1-2, L2-3 & L4-5 levels. (c) Mild effacement of bilateral lateral recesses is seen at L4-5 level.

The MRI results suggest aging changes of the lower back.
There is no evidence of damage to the nerves in this report.
My advice would be to consult with a physiotherapist as to exercises that will prevent back problems from getting worse.
The main area of concern is the L4 -L5 level. These exercises and posture advice should help you to strengthen your back and protect your nerves.
