Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Have neck burning pain, with throbbing hands and color changes in fingers.Pinky and ring finger go numb. EMG negative and 2 cervical MRI s slight protrusion C6/C7. Low mpv 7.2,High BUN/Creatine Ratio 24,Urea Nitrogen(BUN) High 28. Positve ANA. What do you think?
EMG negative means your EMG tests are normal. Since you have C6/C7 protrusion, you may experience tingling & numbness in your fingers. Low MPV means your platelets are old, maybe new platelets are not being formed. ANA positive indicates some type of autoimmune disorder. High creatinine, urea & nitrogen signals kidney problem, urinary obstruction or some cardiac issue. You are suggested to get clinically examined so that the treating doctor may correlate the reports with your symptoms & start the treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
