Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred based on the
ultrasound report you have posted.
1.
Uterus is normal in size and position.
2. Ovaries are of normal size.
3. Endometrium is in 'secretory phase' and is slightly thickened. During the secretory phase of the uterus, the hormone
progesterone is produced by the ovaries. It begins after ovulation - that's the release of the mature egg from the ovary. The changes that occur during the secretory phase takes place in the functional zone of the endometrium.
4. In the left ovary,
corpus luteum is noted. A corpus luteum is a type of
ovarian cyst which may rupture about the time of
menstruation.
This is a type of functional cyst occurs after an egg has been released from a follicle. The follicle then becomes a secretory gland that is known as the corpus luteum. It takes up to three months to disappear entirely.
5. Minimal fee fluid in cul de sac is normal and might indicate ovulation has occurred following rupture of follicle.
Hence, there is no major abnormality detected as such and the normal physiological process is been happening.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
