1.The possibilities of the bony lesion can be bony island - which does not need any intervention other than follow-up.
2.If this lesion is in the lung the possible cause could be localised alveolar opacities due to infection / inflammation.
3.For which if symptomatic a course of antibiotic will be fine.
4.The other possibilities can be old healed granulomas which remains for longer and does not need any further treatment.
5.If you are symptomatic, for confirmative
HRCT - high resolution computer
tomography will be definitive. And a followup x-ray.
