Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the test results is as follows:
Eosinophil is one of the white blood cells.
Its normal range is betwenn 0-6 cells per cubic millimeter.
Eosinophils are elevated in conditions like allergy, asthma, hay fever,
allergic rhinitis, urticaria, parasitic infections and certain neoplasms.
The elevated
eosinophil count has to be correlated with clinical findings.
SGPT level of 44 is slightly above the normal range. (The normal range is between 0-40 IU/L.
The slight elevation is not of much consequence.
The
Widal test is done for
typhoid fever.
The antibody titre of 1:80 and above is significant.
In your test result, the antibody titre for
Salmonella typhi O antigen is 1:160.
This suggests that you are suffering from typhoid fever.
Consult your doctor with report for clinical correlation and treatment.
Thanks and take care
