I had an EKG that says minor-high lateral repolarization disturbance, consider ischemia, LV overload or aspecific change, small negative T in a Vl with flat or low negative T in l .....ECG without significant abnormalities. Can you tell me what this means?
Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of the ECG is as follows: There is evidence of ischemia in the left ventricular wall of the heart. Ischemia is decreased blood supply to the heart muscle. Decreased blood supply to the heart muscles can be due to blockage of any blood vessel supplying the heart muscle. The most common blood vessel supplying the left ventricular wall is left anterior descending coronary artery. Thus, further relevant investigations like echocardiography is required to assess the status of cardiac blood vessels. Management can be planned after clinical assessment and investigations.
