Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My Hcg level is 284.8 is it something to worry about? I have to older sons who are 3 and 1 and there levels were higher at the time of my blood test confirmation. My guesstimated due date I think would be march 15th because the beginning date of my last period was June 8th. So I m thinking I m 4 weeks and 2 days
Thanks for putting your query over here. High Hcg level indicates pregnancy. There is lot of variation within a broad range in their levels happening throughout pregnancy .Important is their level should double every 72 hours and peak around 8-10 weeks of gestation. These variations and the level you mentioned is part of normal pregnancy unless an extremely high Hcg level is detected associated with some health complaints .Better indicator of progress of pregnancy is USG which your consulting doctor will definitely advise for follow up. Thanks and regards.
