What Does Lab Work Indicate When Suffering From Crohns Disease And Chrossis?
i AM LOOKING AT MY LAB WORK AND WONDER WHAT THIS MEANS ... THE ALT 39, RDW 17.5, ABSOLUTE LYMPOCYTES 358 AND ABSOLUTE MONOCYTES ARE 165 .. i HAVE CROHNS DISEASE AND CHROSSIS OF THE LIVER ~ THIS IS A TEST THAT THE DRS HAVE NOT SEEN YET AND SEEMS AS IF THEY WONT ; i AM WONDERING IF THE RESULTS SPEAK OF THE PROGRESSION OF EITHER MY LIVER DISEASE OR CHRONES? I am sorry ... I have been on disability for over a year and cannot afford even the $15...thanks anyway

Normal range of ALT is 7-41 U/L. yours has 39 so its normal. you have Absolute Lymphocyte Count 358 which is high, and monocyte also is high which is suggestive of inflamation process is on going. crohns and cirrhosis both requires constant monitoring of the disease. both the disease has chances to progress. For Crohns disease you required to do regular CRP, ESR, USG, Endoscopy. for cirrhosis you required to do regular liver function tests.
