Radiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

The findings suggest changes in brain due to advancing age. Lacunar infarcts are a result of small vessel disease especially in patients with diabetes and hypertension which may not have caused any symptoms in the past. Please do not worry but discuss your symptoms with a neurologist. After a complete neurological clinical examination you may be given certain medications to prevent strokes. Please take your medicines regularly.
