What Does Pneumonitis And Hilar Congestion In The X-ray Indicate ?
hi i got my daughter (1 yr 7 months) examinated , as per doctors advice we went for her chest xray (twice repeated after 20 days) Earlier findings were pneumonitis and then in II xray : hilar congestion. what does this indicate YYYY@YYYY
You daughter has respiratory infections. This is a step stone for primary complex (TB in children) which is common condition in childrens. Blood vessels in the hilum are engorged in hilar congestion. If condition is progressing it will lead to hilar adenitis. Pneumonitis refers to lung tissue inflammation. Extensive treatment is necessary.
Wish you speedy recovery
Thanks
