What Does The Calyces And Pelves Are Prominent Mean?

Hello, I recently got medical records back with this narrative. What does this mean? The calyces and pelves are prominent, particularly the right. There is no change following voiding. No perinephric fluid collection is seen.Prominence of the intrarenal collecting structures, right greater than left. Thank you

Dear Friend, greetings from HCM. I understand your concern. The impression indicated suggest that there is slight problems bin your kidney s. Might be minimal obstruction distal to renal pelvis which is just above ureters. You need to meet an urologist soon get possibly a diuretic ultrasound of your kidney s and, pelvis and ureter .To find out the cause of this obstruction. And dialated pelvi-caliceal system. Might require regular follow up.
