General & Family Physician, Dr. Jay Patel's Response
Hello,
The scan reads in basic language is - The brain is bulging out of the skull bone and even with modern treatments it is not possible to fix damage brain part if any occurred or may occur during delivery (which is high probability). Any damage will make the life of unborn child miserable in addition to care giver's life as well. Short answer is follow the gynecologist's advice.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jay Patel, General & Family Physician
