Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does X Ray Showing Suspicious Densities In Right Upper Lungs Suggest?
I had an x-ray last April 16, 2015 Findings: Suspicious densities are noted in right upper lungs. The pulmunary vascular markings are within normal limits. heart is not enlarged. Both hemidiaphragm and sinuses are intact. Bony thorax and visualized sort tissues are unremarkable. Please explain
I have gone through your x-ray findings and they may suggest early disease process involving the alveoli which are tiny air containing sacs within the lungs. As the disease process progresses more and more alveoli are affected which show proper shadowing of consolidation on follow up x-ray. I would strongly advise that you consult your local physician so that he can assess your x-ray findings on the basis of proper medical history, physical examination and lab investigations
I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns. Wishing you good health.
