What Does A Black Spot Inside The Eyelid Indicate?
I work as a landscaper and usually cut grass. Just today i noticed a small black speck inside the lower eyelid. I tried using water and a q-tip gently to try and get it out, thinking it could be grass, but it hasn t moved. Could it just be grass that has been there for awhile and has gotten stuck or something else?

Hi,
If any redness, dryness or itching associated with that black speck than inflammation could be possible. Some minor injuries also can cause it. Wash eye with clean hand and water for two days. Don't rub the eye frequently. If no improvement then consults an ophthalmologist for detailed evaluation. Kindly upload the image of the lesion to comment further.
