Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have developed a large yellow blister (about 1.5 in, across, 1 inch high) on my right ankle about 2 days after walking through a wooded area. The skin near the blister was previously itchy due to a mosquito bite so I didn t think much of the itch at first. Now there is a reddish ring of hardened skin around the blister, and a similar blister is growing on my other ankle. I don t think they are due to mosquito bites. Should I worry about them or will they go away on their own? Sorry I don t have a credit card.

What Does A Blister On The Right Ankle Indicate?
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic It would be best to be seen by your doctor for assessment and treatment. The fact there is now another lesion, means that an assessment where your doctor can take a look at the lesions would be the best management decision. Based on your description, an infection may be present. I hope this helps
