General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The liver normally has a uniform appearance on imaging scans.

Cloudy or non-homogeneous appearance could be due to infections, inflammatory reactions and various types of noncancerous and cancerous tumors that distort the appearance of the liver. Additional tests are necessary to identify the underlying cause of appearances seen on a liver imaging study and needs to be correlated clinically.

Kindly consult your doctor for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
