Hi,

Ipill is an emergency contraceptive pill. The pill would prevent pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding like your periods by 5 to 7 days after its intake.

If the bleeding doesn't happen by 10 days, you need to take a urine pregnancy test, blood hCG levels and transvaginal ultrasound scan.

Kindly consult Obstetrician with the reports for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
