Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have just noticed that I have what appears to be a dent on my left shin, several inches above the ankle, on the inside of the shin bone. Large indentation. No pain. Dinstinctly different from my right leg. Any idea what could be causing this? I have rheumatoid arthritis and other forms of arthritis. I go for months blood work and all enzymes have been normal for kidney and liver function. My doctor also checks heart and thyroid and all seem to be normal. Sugar is also normal.
Most likely to be due to post inflammatory changes via tissue necrosis of past and making a decrease in the girth of the particular portion of the shin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
