General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and from the description you have provided it seems you have developed a sebaceous cyst. It can be diagnosed on physical examination by a surgeon. They are generally benign but in some cases they may be malignant so it is advisable to get it examined. The surgeon may advice a CT or ultrasound to know the content of the cyst. Treatment usually comprises of draining or surgical removal of the cyst. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
