What Does A Hard Lump Above The Ankle Bone Indicate?

Hi , I have a hard lump on my left fibula above my ankle bone. When I touch it it does not move and feels like a bruise but there is no coloration. The size is close to a cherry and it grew a little in the last 3 days. What could it be and should I get it checked out?

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.
A lump near the ankle may be a Ganglion cyst.
Usually these cysts do no cause any kind of problem, if you experience any pain or burning sensation you can visit a surgeon for the better understanding of the swelling and go for an appropriate treatment.
