What Does A Hard Lump On The Posterior Pharyngeal Wall Indicate?
I have had this hard lump on my posterior pharyngeal wall for some time now. Sometimes I can feel it regularly and it makes me vomit just because it constantly feels like there is something stuck in my throat. And I ve just realized the last year that I can actaully feel it with my finger, it almost hurts to touch it. It goes away for a month or two at a time but always comes back. I have seen an ent and done a swallow barium test, both times when my throat was not bothering me tho but this is the only time they could get me in. And I ve been told it s all in my head. Like I said tho now I ve actaully put my finger in there and I can feel a lump so I know I m not crazy! Anyways this has been going on for 2 year s in may. Any advice would be great!
There sounds to be a palpation of normal physiologic structure and misconception about that to be of a hard lump. However, I would recommend undertaking an MRI of the concerned region for further guidelines ahead.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
