What Does A Hole In The Lungs Indicate?
My sister has a pin prick hole in her lung with a drain tube in it. How will it heal with the drain tube in it? This followed surgical removal of a malignant nodule in her lung. Sorry, I thought I could have one free answer. I will wait for surgeon s answer. Thank you, Sara

It is a common procedure for us Surgeons to leave drain after surgery. Don't worry, the drain will be removed and the hole will be filled by connective tissue.
