What Does A Lump On The Penis Indicate?

I have a bump on my shaft that I popped about 2-3 weeks ago. It has gone flat now but is bright white and a different color than the rest of the skin. It seems to be a smooth feeling as well. There is a little area where there seems to be a little pit or crater. What could it be?
