Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I ve had a small lump right beside the hole of my penis for a very long time, I don t know what it is. It has a little red slit in the middle and it looks like blood, but it isn t. It does not hurt at all, it doesn t hurt when I pee and I don t think it s an STI... Can anyone tell me what it is?
The symptoms are suggestive of small genital wart.
However, we have to rule out other conditions like molluscum contagiosum which can also cause similar symptoms.
Nothing much to worry as both of them are harmless and easily curable conditions. You can consult a dermatologist and plan for further management. Once the diagnosis of genital wart is confirmed, you can either go for cauterization or cryosurgery.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
