What Does A Lump On The Roof Of The Mouth Indicate?

I have noticed a hard light colored lump on the right side of my uvula on the roof of my mouth. I only noticed it because I had recently discovered that I had some tonsil stones and had started to pay attention to that area. Its not painful, but it does sometimes feel like there is something stuck in my throat.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

A light coloured lump on the roof of the mouth can be due to causes like:

-If it is bony hard then it can be most probably due to bony torus formation.

-It can also be due to inflamed or blocked minor salivary gland.

-It can be due to Adenoma formation..

You should consult an Oral Physician or an ENT Physician and get evaluated..

A thorough clinical examination can be done to rule out the exact nature of the bump..

Once the diagnosis is made then appropriate treatment can be planned..

For now you should do salt water rinses..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
