Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I think I have lymphocele on my penis and I know that for the period I m supposed to let it heal up having sex would cause complications but I don t know about masturbation, as every guy has their urges in curious to wether I can sort myself out that way, I ve had lymphocele for a day or two
Lymphocele is a collection of the 'drainage fluid' called lymph, which causes swelling. Lymph is a drainage liquid which is drained into the bloodstream by special channels called lymph vessels. Lymphocele appear when drainage of lymph is blocked.
Penis lymphocele is not dangerous and non-infectious. They generally disappear on their own. If they appear after having intercourse or after masturbation, you can drain them yourself by applying pressure on the swelling.
To make them go away permanently, you should abstain from having intercourse or masturbating for a couple of weeks. If they still reappear and continue to be a problem for you, you need to consult Understand for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
