Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have tested positive for to both in skin and blood test. There is an encapsulated nodule in my lung. They say they will issue me a pill that I must take for twelve weeks. What pill is that and why must I take it at the heath office since I work at doctor s office four days a week?
Based on the description, it appears that the nodule could be due to the tubercular origin. Hence, you need to take the medications (anti-tubercular drugs) as prescribed for 12 weeks and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
