i have a pimple on my bottom lip, at the top of it. i tried to bust it and it bleed profusely. It doesnt hurt and i just had a baby. i also wet my lips alot to rub off dry skin. the area was irraited before it appeared. and this is the 1st time. i was told i have hsv-1 antibodies when i was 6mons pregnant.

As per your description it appears to be boil or folliculitis or simply saying inflammation of the hair root.
It is quite a common condition at the bottom lip area because of closed surface and tight clothes with more of sweating. All these features can lead to blockage of teh pores and thereby leading to infection of the area.
In my patients with your kind of problem i suggest them to maintain good hygiene. Do not pinch or pop the area as it can lead to spread of infection.
An oral antibiotic such as ciprofloxacin or amoxycillin helps a lot in controlling the infection. A pain killer can be additionally taken for pain reduction.
