What Does A Red Bump On The Face Indicate?

On my face, recently small (about 1/4 - 1/2 round, raised, skin colored but in the beginning they are slightly red. I m 73 years old and have always had pretty clear skin. Should I see a dermatologist or not worry about themselves? I m diabetic & take Novolog in A.M. & Toujeo in P.M. What should I do?
