What Does A Rough Patch Of Skin On The Cheek Indicate?

Hi My son has this rough skin patch on his chick he has had it for years and he is getting worse. We always thought I was eczema but he saw a dermatologist earlier in the year who said it was something else which can only be treated by laser therapy. It has flared up quite badly is there anything we can treat it with until he goes for laser? He is epileptic and extremely hyper. The psychiatric disorders that causes his hyper activity has not been diagnosed correctly. Pediatrician used to say I was ADHD however a psychiatrist who saw him said he does not believe that s the case. The dermatologist and the psychiatrist are of the opnion that the skin condition has to do with the neoro disorder.
