General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your brain has a doubtful shadow in MRI. That might be a thrombus, hemorrhage, parasite-like neurocysticercosis, cysts (e.g. hydatid), benign tumor or a neoplasm.

A contrast MRI will be more informative to reveal the nature of the lesion (in which a dye is injected intravenously and as it circulates throughout the body, including the brain, the sequential scans are procured).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
