I am on blood pressure meds. I am taking Lisinopril-HCTZ20/25mg Amlodipine Besylate 5mg.once a day My B/P is138over 74 HR is beating 52 - 55 . I am 73 I starded on B/P meds in March of this year. The ? is . is my heart rate too slow. I am not dizz or not having any problems. Charles.

hi do not worry your blood pressure and heart rate are under good control with the medications what you are taking.
your heart rate should concern you if it is below 45/min or more than 100/ min for your hypertensive states, so that the hearty should not be affected.
if there are no signs of dizziness, palpitations, not to worry. please continue with the same medications. all the best take care
