Was diagonised with LCIS last April had excisional biopsy every thing was fine had a mamogram in January this year seen surgeon in January everything came bace fine in the mamogram. Today I noticed on the opposite side there is a small hard bump and now that I have kept touch and pushing on it the tissue is sore but not the bump. I am planning on calling the surgeon on Monday should I be worried?
A biopsy is required to check whether it is a recurrence or not. Consult a general surgeon and plan for a mammogram and fine needle biopsy(FNAC). Further treatment will depend on biopsy results.
