What Does A Tumor In Nose Indicate?

my dad has a tumor in his nose. An EENT Specialist performed surgery, have the tumor subject for biopsy. Result said Non Hodkins Lymphoma stage 1. I seek a second opinion from a known pathologist using fine needle, the result is osteomylitis with severe inflammation. I brought the result to the EENT Specialist he doesnt want to accept it, he is pursuing chemotheraphy. What should I do?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
If i am your treating doctor, i would suggest you to get the biopsy repeated or take the wax block and slide from your previous biopsy specimen and take one more opinion from a good pathologist. It is important to diagnose before starting any treatment. Fine needle aspiration cytology will not give a confirmatory diagnosis..So get a biopsy redone.
I hope I have answered your query, take care.
