What Does Absence Of Menstrual Bleeding After Taking I-pill Indicate?
Hello doctor. My query is regarding consumption of ipill, I had unprotected sex on 9th of july i took ipill very next day after that on 15th I bleed for 4-5 days. Now this month that is august, second month after ipill, my period hasn t arrived yet. Is it normal? Is this the side effect of ipill only? As i bleed after taking ipill what are my chances of getting pregnant? Please help.

I understand your concern
You have a side effects of the I pill.
Bleeding for 4-5 days after using pill is a breakthrough bleeding as I pill contain high progesterone.
I pill also cause delay in the period by the 7-10 days as it prolong the second phase of the cycle.
There is no relation between Bleeding after I pill and chance of pregnancy.
Failure rate of I pilL is around 5-10 %.
If your period will be delay by 14 days from the normal expected period date then go for pregnancy test and or blood HCG to confirm the pregnancy.
If pregnancy will be there then still it can be terminated by the abortion pill under the advise of gynecologist.
Avoid stress , do regular exercise and take healthy diet.
