hi doc....i had my urine test yesterday,as my teacher employment requirements...an albumin was traced...the doctor prescribed an antibiotic to be taken for 1 week...i just want to ask if what could be the food to be avoided? hope you could help me...thank you and God bless.
Hi, Thanks for your question Albumin in urine alone do not require any antibiotics. Antibiotics are generally prescribed if any pus cells are found in urine along with associated symptoms like burning mucturition, fever. There is no need to avoid any food but its better to avoid spicy foods and have plenty of water.
