What Does An Abdominal Pain During Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi,I am 35 years old with 3 kids, born in the year of 1998,2001 and 2009.I had 2 abortion in 1997 and 2006.I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism when I was 7 mos pregnant with my last child until now. Now,I am 5 weeks pregnant and I cannot have consultation or medication because im pregnant without being married here in Gulf. I am worried because Im having abdominal pain at the left side for 3 weeks now but no blood spot or anything. I am worried right now and planning to go back to my country to have abortion? Is it safe for me?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

As you are not really interested in going on with the pregnancy, there should be no cause for concern here. Abdominal pain during pregnancy is normal, but depending on other factors like vaginal bleeding a threatened abortion can be suspected. I would recommend travelling back to your home country at the earliest to avoid further complications.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
