What Does An Elevated Creatinine Level Indicates?

i have a high creatinine level and i have type 2 diabetes on insulin and pills, high blood pressure, asthma and cad, i had a heart attack 3 yrs ago at 47. my mom had billiary cirhosis and my sister has crohn`s, i am very concerned about the high creatinine that it could be a problem with my liver or kidneys, what should i do

Elevated levels of creatinine in a diabetic are a cause of worry as they indicate renal failure.You need to urgently consult a Nephrologist and your physician so as to avoid landing in End stage Renal disease and severe uraemia.You may need dialysis to prevent further Damage.
