Your scan report shows-
-Anteverted uterus- this is its normal position in the pelvis.
-Subserosal myoma- myoma is another term for a
fibroid.
Subserosal is its location, which means it is growing on the outer wall of the uterus, in your case from the posterior wall.
It is seen to extend into the cul-de-sac that is the space posterior to the uterus (and in front of
rectum).
Fibroids need treatment if they produce symptoms, or interfere with
pregnancy, otherwise watchful waiting is an option many asymptomatic women follow. A variety of medicinal/surgical options are available.
If you have any symptoms- pressure on rectum,
backache etc, talk to your doctor about it.
