What Does Brown Discharge When Having Birth Control Bar Indicate?
I have had the birth control the bar in my arm for a year and I ve had no periods since but now I have brown discharge. And a few days before my nipples were sensitive but not now. What does this mean? I was told I could not get pregnant on this birth control. I have not checked but should I?

Hi,
With birth control bar intact disturbed, you would not be pregnant. The symptoms you have are side effects of inbuilt hormone progesterone. It is known to cause menstrual irregularity (absent, delayed, scanty, frequent profuse bleeding) so don't worry. Check with your doctor for bar position.
