What Does Brown Menstrual Blood And Cramps Indicate?
good day I was meant to get my period one the 26th April, I then got some brown(old blood I assume) blood on the 31st April and on the 1st May it was red but not enough to fill a tampon or a sanitary pad...had some mild cramping and non back aches....this lasted until the 2nd May. today its the 3rd and I have absolutely no blood whatsoever, I m confused as to what is happening since my boyfriend and I are trying to conceive, I am too scared to do pregnancy test because I have been disappointed too many times....PLEASE HELP.
As you have been trying to conceive, the bleeding which is mild may be spotting that occurs after implantation of embryo to the uterine wall. This also leads to mild bleeding or spotting. so kindly take home pregnancy test once.
Most of the times it may be normal to menstruate very little amounts. So you don't need to worry. If consecutive 4-5 periods are scanty, then you may need to see a gynecologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,

Hello, As you have been trying to conceive, the bleeding which is mild may be spotting that occurs after implantation of embryo to the uterine wall. This also leads to mild bleeding or spotting. so kindly take home pregnancy test once. It is also called as oligomenorrhea. If that is negative, some causes of your irregular and scanty periods are anemia, hypothyroidism, polycystic ovarian disease, uterine fibroids, hyperthyroidism, ovarian tumor secreting androgens, Cushing s disease, pelvic inflammatory disease or prolacinomas. Most of the times it may be normal to menstruate very little amounts. So you don t need to worry. If consecutive 4-5 periods are scanty, then you may need to see a gynecologist. Take care.
