What Does Burning Sensation In The Left Ankle Indicate?
I get a burning sensation in my left ankle when I go for a walk. It starts about 10 minutes in. Once I sit down for a couple minutes it goes away. I do not have any previous injuries and I have tried several different pairs of walking shoes. Will a brace help?
Rather than braces kindly get evaluated for nerve compression or sciatica. If the root is irritated, then burning sensation or hyperresponsiveness of the nerve also can occur.

What Does Burning Sensation In The Left Ankle Indicate?
Hello, Rather than braces kindly get evaluated for nerve compression or sciatica. If the root is irritated, then burning sensation or hyperresponsiveness of the nerve also can occur. Preferably a nerve conduction study would help you. You can take vitamin B12 tablets which can help the growth of the nerves and peripheral neuropathy. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Archana
